Add a Planet

Adding a new planet

Adding a planet is easy, but you will have to use the editor to do it. Don't worry - it's actually quite easy. If you're already happy doing that, just scroll on down to the bottom of this page, type your planet's name into the box and hit the "Create Bio" button. It'll load in the standard template, which you're welcome to either use as-is, change around or ignore entirely.

How to drive the editor...

...With the buttons

The editor really is easy to use. At the top of the edit window, you'll see some buttons. It's clearer what some of them do that others. If you highlight some text and then hit a button, it'll throw some extra characters in that'll change how your text is displayed. Done.

If you want to get rid of something that comes up in the standard planetary template, just delete it.

To add text, just type the text in where you want it to go. If you want multiple paragraphs, just leave a blank line between each bit of text and the editor will work it out.

...By typing things in

If you're too clever for all the buttons and just want to type it in directly, that's easy too. The template even contains a quick guide to the basics of headings, subheadings, bold and italic text. For anything more, just look over here, where you'll find all the assistance you need.
