== Information Known by Arkangel Society ==

Born on a heavily industrialised imperial world he was brought to the black ships at a young age. As soon as he was free he was recruited as a psyker specialist to a mercenary company serving as an anti psyker assassin.

He left not long after the company was hired by Lord Captain Alexander Winter Alexander. Seeing the opportunity for new freedoms, a chance to see things no one else could and operate under the protection of an imperial warrant he joined his crew. It did not take long for him to descend into a life of decadence and over indulgence.

Currently on Arkangel he is openly critical of the dockworkers union, if they want a say at the table they should earn a warrant like the rest of us, everyone needs to accept their place. He also has little respect for the University, stupid children playing with things they have no clue about.

Maximillion was not originally in the line of succession for the Alexander Warrant. No one is quite sure how he came by the Alexander but several notable administratum officials have verified the validity of his claim and there has so far been no complaints from Seraph where the Dynasties main holdings are.

Tollman has been operating in and out of Arkangel for some time now, having an association with the fortress-port that goes back even before the onset of the Hypatian Crusade. It is widely rumoured that the Lord Captain was once an Inquisitor and has had something of rocky history with the powers that were on Arkangel. Tollman is well known for keeping strange company and for being a collector of stranger artefacts. Known to be an expert in numerous occult matters and disciplines, Lord Captain Tollman is often hired by other Dynasties in order to assist with the resolution of various unconventional problems. Supposedly, Tollman undertakes some sort of obscure duty linked to the protection of Arkangel and is well compensated by the station for such.

Whilst on patrol, the initial quartet of the Dynasty (Lupus, Cincinnatius, Verona and Jonett) were sent out to investigate a massive fleet of space hulks. Amongst them was one ship, it's name scrubbed clean from the hull, systems blank, and the previous captain impaled on his own command chair, with his hand still on a locked box.

The four officers sent to investigate returned some time later and requested this particularly beat up cruiser as their share of the salvage. It was granted. Two days later, now in possession of a Rogue Trader warrant, they left the Imperial Navy. It turned out that that one locked box in a dead man's hand was worth as much as the rest of the fleet combined.

Now they are starting again in a whole new world. They have all kept their Imperial Navy dress blues.

Mac Malvoisin ("It's pronounced 'Mallen'") was Lord Captain Sireena Cerastes' right-hand, or perhaps more accurately left-hand, man. His main tasks seem to be exploration, investigation and reconnaissance, although he has become increasingly resigned to combat being an important part of his mission. He has people skills, for a sufficiently loose value of "people." Mac spent a long career in Departmento Munitorum intelligence doing one shady job after another, and although he may technically no longer be on active service, it's generally understood that Mac still knows some people who know some people.

Mac has a perverse sense of humour and a thirst for new sensations. He's known as a connoisseur of cheap, spicy food. Although he outwardly seems to view the Imperium and its rules with a sort of affectionate cynicism, he has moments of sincere piety and unconscious traditionalism. (One effect of Arkangel's unique social environment is that this attitude, which would be wildly rebellious within the hierarchy of the Guard, makes Mac something of a conservative on Arkangel, or at least a comfortable moderate.)

When family business called Sireena back to Imperial space, she entrusted the ''Stranger'' and its mission to her first officer. Mac accepted the task dutifully and set about recruiting a new team of agents. Since then, he has developed his own style as Lord Captain, a hybrid of Cerastes traditionalism, military pragmatism, and his own idiosyncratic instincts.

Mac typically takes the field armed with a regulation-issue chainsword, affectionately dubbed "Ol' Chainy," and an evilly-glowing xenotech fetter pistol, but he also owns a seemingly endless supply of cheap, disposable stub pistols. In combat against Fuga Animi, he lost the use of his right arm; it remains to be seen how the injury will affect him.

Mac was born on the Imperial world of Esrola, a matriarchal planet with a rigid military culture. Both of his parents were officers in the Imperial Guard and came from families with long traditions of service. When they died, he was sent to the Schola Progenium.
