== Information Known by Arkangel Society ==
Victrix and her First Officer Captain Cartwright were amongst those present with the Iron Star Consortium some century or so ago. Upon leaving Hera, their ship, the ''Pulchra Nimis'' was caught in the path of a warp storm, leading them to become lost within. Through a great effort both on the part of Victrix and her father, Iepynimies, the ship translated violently from the warp and into the Ruhrort Sector once more.

What, for them, has been only three weeks, had in fact, been over 100 years for everyone else.

With their Lord-Captain dead, Victrix was adopted by the dynasty, naturally grateful to have their flagship back, however banged up it might have been as a result. With the promise of their support, Victrix agreed to take the ship, newly rechristened ''"The Conception of Hope"'' beyond the Maw of Nir to seek fortune for the dynasty beyond. After installing her father as Navis Primus and promoting Cartwright to First Officer, Victrix spent the next few weeks travelling in order to find herself a skilled field crew she could rely on. It is during this time that she met Twigjack, Merezkho and Azrael, all of whom have become invaluable to her since.

It is clear that her crew are as loyal to her as she is to them. She is proud, headstrong and determined, but with a wisdom well beyond her years and a capability that means she is equally as able to hold her own in a situation as any of her crew.

== Recent Events ==

On the Planet Grigio, central base of the Confederacy of Human Interests in the Stygian Abyss sector, Victrix was confronted with her own death. A demon named Truth, held captive by the Fugi Animi warmed her of her impending doom. Later that same day, she received a vision, and knew her time had come. Knowing she could not inform her crew, lest they die too, she painfully took them to a ruin, under the guise of securing the evident warp threat that had called out to her. She felt powerless as she obediently solved the puzzle before her and knowingly unleashed a powerful demon that had been trapped there for time untold.

Her crew watched in aim and horror as the demon laid waste to Twigjack, scattering him in millions of pieces throughout the Galaxy, and then violent beat Victrix to death, all the while making sure that each treacherous word it spoke would pierce and twist Cartwright’s heart. The demon then reanimated Victrix, and issuing one final challenge to Cartwright, left with her, condemning her to the Immaterium and servitude.

Her crew are now united in their task to find their Lady-Captain and restore Twigjack, no matter what it takes. For now, the Kasputin Dynasty rests in Cartwright’s hands.

Through Boiling Clouds of Thunder (known, almost invariably, as simply 'Thunder') is a Feral Worlder. That much is obvious from even the most casual of inspections. The precise nature of his homeworld, and his departure therefrom, is information Thunder has yet to openly share with Arkangel Society, but based on his claims that he spent a decade as a slave gladiator, it is safe to assume he did not leave willingly, or under good circumstances. He owes his freedom to [https://wiki.norestforthewicked.org.uk/Sireena_Cerastes Lord Captain Sireena], who purchased it so that he may serve her as a bodyguard and arch-militant. When it became clear that his services were superfluous to the Cerastes Dynasty's activities in the Stygian Abyss, however, he struck out on his own to serve as a mercenary with any Dynasty willing to hire his blade. Over the course of his independence, he has been blessed by the God Emperor with several worthy allies, and together they have secured a Warrant and vessel to forge a new Dynasty in their own strange image.

Although most commonly known for his blunt and aggressive fervour in combat (and the obscene slab of adamantium he wields), Thunder also possesses a surprising depth of expertise in the art of medicae. If his proclivity for grand, bombastic tales is to be believed, he gained such expertise from a genetics tome claimed from an Astartes derelict - given the remarkable sophistication of his gene alchemy, there may be some truth to such claims.

== Lineage ==
Thunder's biology is, perhaps, one of the worst-kept secrets on Arkangel. Although appearing outwardly Human, Thunder's innards are a mess of redundant organs, boneplate armour and nerve buffers. Whether he is truly a Mutant, or some kind of unsanctioned Abhuman, is a matter of opinion, but Thunder asserts that his lineage is both stable and a subject of great personal pride upon his homeworld. 'Painkillers', as his genetic variance is locally known, are the culmination of a ten-millennia-long effort to reproduce the sacred biology of an Astartes, utilising only selective breeding and controlled exposure to radiomutagens. Impressive as Thunder's hardiness is, they clearly still have a ways to go yet.

Thunder boasts that he has fought for every Dynasty upon Arkangel at least once. Nevertheless, there are a select few with whom he has formed a particularly close bond - most notably, the members of the Free Company:

Skyfall arrived unexpectedly on the planet known as Garm's Leap, emerging from the darkness at around midnight. She was dirty, bloody, improperly dressed for the cold, and limping. She seemingly had limited Low Gothic and limited other means of communication. It was apparent that she had heard the sound of the drop bar crashing to earth, and had followed the lights looking for help.

It was quickly established that she was in fact a very powerful psyker, and with some recognition of the Aquilla and her speed at picking up their language, it seemed she was not born here, and had once perhaps been familiar with Imperial society.

She had no name, and decided she would earn one. This occurred swiftly when Anahita gave her the name she bares for stopping a lander crashing and preventing someone jumping off the side to their death.

Skyfall's origins are mostly unknown. She has shared almost no details of her past, and in fact it seems she may remember very little. She claims she fell from the stars when she was a very little girl, and before that she lived on a big ship, where she was alone a lot, attended to by strangers rather than her parents. Some believe this means she was of high noble birth, others have speculated that perhaps, even at a young age, people suspected what she might eventually become and kept her apart for safety.

Shortly after being taken to Archangel Sky spent many weeks aboard Lord Captain Tollman's ship, and returned notably quieter, baring the brand of a sanctioned psyker, and with far better Low Gothic.

[[Through Boiling Clouds of Thunder]] - One of the first people Sky came into contact with when she arrived. He protected her and took her under his wing, seemingly without question. Sky clearly utterly adores him and would follow her Lord Captain anywhere.

Erasmus Bloom - A wonderfully good and bad influence. A mischievous brother, one to gossip and explore with. A mind to be reckoned with.

Lytling Ddraig Aur - Her more reliable and sensible brother. A strong warrior, and kind soul who has adopted her into his house.

The Dancing Spectre - Newest friend. Still a confusing and new presence. But they are supposed to be here, Sky knows that.

[[Lord Captain Maximillion Alexander]] - Sky's close friend. Can frequently be seen giggling together in a corner like naughty children, frequently without being seen to speak at all.

She's a fierce warrior, and also a scout; for the latter, she tends to prefer the term 'hunter' as more appropriate, though it's unclear what manner of hunting requires the ability to crack high tech security systems.

Oh, and she's also a psyker. She seems to enjoy that people actually forget that, whether because she doesn't look like one stood next to Tempus, or because honestly it's one of the least weird things about her - but if pushed, she'll happily show off not one, but ''two'' Imperial sanctioning brands. Spider is 200-odd years old, and will happily share this fact, and various stories of her past, with anyone who asks, or is just nearby when she's had a few. She landed on Hera, fought in the Hypatian Crusade, helped avenge the destruction of her planet, and helped her people remain a people through through both the loss of their homeworld, and the subsequent loss of their last remaining leadership... and she's also got a lot of lighter material, largely concerning encounters with strange and exotic critters and/or the consumption of large amounts of intoxicating substances.
