Born in the lower levels of a Hive, he has never been considered to be anything but "Hiver scum". No education and no prospects of rising up the spires. He was taught how to use demolitions and how to fight. The rest, he picked up on the way. As part of the drifter fleet, he has picked up some of their rotes and traditions
